Ann-Katrin Berggren has been a journalist for nearly thirty years. She started as an apprentice whilst continuing her journalist studies in 1980 and got her first employment at the leading Swedish Magazines group (Bonnier Magazine Group) where she covered fashion, interior design, food and lifestyle for a fashion magazine. In the 1990s she acted as a consultant to the Swedish Fashion Council producing an annual interior design trendbook, and she is still producing trend reports for them today.
Ann-Katrin has also worked for Ikea on a contract-basis as a stylist, with their catalogues, for over ten years.
As an Interior Designer A-K has done the interior of a Holiday Cottage Resort in Devon (www.gitcombe.co.uk) and the Swedish School in Barnes, London, just to mention the two biggest projects so far.
She lives in the Cotswolds with her banker husband Bruce and eleven year old son, Hugo.
At the moment she is back working as a freelance journalist and has recently done work for a new Swedish glossy magazine ”Vårt Nya Hem” and trend reports for the Swedish Fashion Council etc.
