HARTS consists of four individual gold & silversmiths. Specialising in a wide range of silverware, we design and make a wide range of Individual pieces from cutlery, bowls, tea and coffee services, to silver-mounted crystal decanters, their necks gracefully entwined by silver wirework.
We also specialise in Ecclesiastical and Civic silver. Designs are produced to the customer's individual requirements incorporating their own ideas and expectations so they will own something unique and personal to them in the finished piece.
This historic Arts and Crafts workshop, known worldwide as The Guild of Handicraft, was established by architect and designer C.R.Ashbee in 1902. The Harts are direct descendants of one of Ashbee's original Guildsman and maintain the afterglow of the fantastic burst of creativity and idealism which characterised the Arts and Crafts movement.
Visitors are always welcome to visit and see silverware being hand-crafted using the same methods and techniques which have been used for centuries.
